If the other side would do the right thing, then the author of this piece would have a point. But since they won't, we have to do what is necessary to make sure that the election is not stolen.

This election is like none other. If we wimp out and don't challenge the close counts and just lay down and give it to the dems we deserve the socialist government we get. Our very existence as a sovereign nation and our very existence as a democracy is at stake for the first time since the American Revolution. We HAVE to win this one and don't turn tail and retreat from the leftist war against us.

How in the hell can they correlate stealing an election to helping a democracy?

I don't think there's a leftist war aginst them. There's a leftist war against the move toward fascism in our country. They're just too blind to see what Bush and his gang are doing to this country. And yes, "Democracy IS at stake for the first time since the American Revolution. However it isn't the Progressives that are attempting to subvert Democracy. It's the lying, cheating, vote stealing, voter supressing Reslugs that are subverting Democracy.
