CSPAN callers on the air... FREEP FREEP FREEP
Freepers making fools of themselves yet again. Guy from Atlanta is looking for a "landslide" reminiscent of Reagan/Mondale, and the woman just on was going postal over stem cell research ("damn baby killers")

1. Time and time again: "President Bush is a good man."
My next door neighbor's "a good man." It doesn't mean I want him running the country.

3. The Repuke who said that this election will be like...
the Reagan/Mondale campaign is a nut. As I remember 1984 (I was 24 then), Mondale never had a chance.

6. I think this is comparable to 1980
Polls slightly favoring the incumbant. Lots and lots of bad press against him. Fears of terrorism, high fuel prices, bad economy, huge victory for challenger. I truly believe that this election will be a clear victory for one side or the other. We had some razor thin margins in 2000, and I wouldn't put it past the flying monkey right to conjure up a few thousand votes in some key states. That being said, turnout looks unprecedented especially with the youth. I feel Kerry is going to surprise even the most optimistic of DU'ers.
