Kerry by 0.4%
The poll of polls (with a very simple extrapolation to cover the final few days) projects a Kerry lead of 0.4% on election day. There are around 5-6% of undecided voters on average; assuming a 5-3-2 break (no vote - challenger - incumbent), this corresponds to a popular vote lead of 0.9% for Kerry in the final vote.

1. I hate polls

Look at these stupid polls:

Opinion Dynamics gives it to Kerry 47% to 45%
Harris gives Kerry a slight edge with 48% to 47%
Zogby has it dead even at 48%
ABC gives it to Bush by one point, 49% to 48%
Gallup has Bush in the lead 49% to 47%
CBS gives the win to Bush by three points, 49% to 46%
Newsweek has Bush with a decisive four point win, 48% to 44%

What happened to Newsweek?? How could they be so off the mark?

Kerry's surge has been all in the last 5 or 6 days.
