"God's going to only let so many babies be killed"
Some yahoo on C-Span as we wait for the Kerry rally said that "God help us if Kerry wins, God's going to only let so many babies be killed." This is after she stated that since Roe v Wade went into effect 40 million babies have been "murdered"

So let me get this, if God really thought that abortion was murder why is 40 million babies (an overstatement in my estimation) ok, without his intervention, but maybe 40 million and one will be one too many?

These yahoos don't make sense!!

How convieniently they "forget" about the people killed in Iraq.... MANY OF THEM BABIES AND CHILDREN.

Of course... they are Iraqis so guess they dont count.

The hypocrisy makes me sick.

Do other countries where abortion is legal have the same kind of pro-life groups we have here in the US? I really wonder. If the saving of "babies" is so important to them, I suggest they move to Russia and start doing their protests there. They use abortion as birth control there and it's not unusual for a woman to have 5 or 6 abortions in her reproductive lifetime. What I don't get is that most of the pro-life people are against even the most basic education about contraception and condom use for protection against disease.

6. Well... considering about 1/3 of all conceptions are spontaneously
aborted... that makes "God" the biggest abortionist of all. Therefore.... I doubt that God gives a fiddler's fart about human intervention. We kind of look like bush league compared to that 1/3 of all numbers.

14. The U.S abortion rate was at a 24 year low when Bush took office.
Now, probably due to the lousy economy, it's back up.   Do right to lifers just want someone who says he's "pro-life" or would they rather have results? :shrug:

Yeah, yeah...first post, but I have been lurking in these forums for well over a year. I actually registered to talk about the police shooting in Rockville, MD, as I happened to be at the aftermath--unfortunately, it seems to have disappeared from the annals of LBN.

Anyway, on the topic at hand. I had a friend who, after being saved, told me that anytime you try to have sex without the purpose being a child; you are killing children...

There is a reason I used the past tense to describe that particular friendship.
