8. Unfortunately, I doubt it. Kerry could get 99% of the vote and

all of the electorals, and Bush would insist that his votes are worth "more" in a Republic of Gondor kind of way. Or else they'll claim the voting machines were hacked.

Everybody knows that the world is full of stupid people... and Bush is just a great example of one.

four years ago was bad enough: pounding pavement to get out vote for days, then going to Dem HQ for results

then, going home at about 9:30, after seeing Florida called (correctly, obviously, cause people THOUGHT their votes would be counted), thinking that the right man had won, only to wake up to a month-long nightmare, followed by FOUR YEARS of unmitigated HELL
