Don't you dread that little town in NH called "Cobbler's Notch" or
something quaint like that? Their early results always come in first and are terrible for Democrats. There's like 12 old Republicrats who live there. I hate that town.

Yeah, there was an election a few years back when some news group actually touted the early returns as a landslide for the repuke.

10. More like it. Some day I'm going to visit that "notch" and spit on
the sidewalk and I've never spit anywhere in my life before. That's how much I hate that place - all these years its the first thing the media likes to shove down my poor yellow dog throat on election morning.

16. There are no sidewalks
but there is a grand old hotel that gives some of the greatest serive you'll ever find. They vote in one room there that's filled with momentos from campaigns past, old photos and signed campaign literature.

14. Another White Mountain hamlet...
....Harts' Location, also does the vote-at-midnight thing, and may have even done it first. The early vote Dixville Notch is basically a publicity stunt for The Balsams resort.
