Not good for Bushie.... He expects to get 55% in Texas
I heard this on Fox that Bush expects to get 55% of the vote in Texas. If that all Bush is expecting in a State that he got a larger percentage in 2000.... Not good news....

2. Just got done watching Bush's Brain...
...and boy am I cranky.

After the crap that Bush and Rove have been pulling for the past two decades the people of Texas should know better than anyone that these two men do not deserve anyone's vote.

Texas, as well as the rest of the country, can certainly do better.

3. Texans know Shrub and his criminal family of carpetbaggers the best
They know the Bush Mafia are a bunch of traitors consumed only with advancing the interests of "The Family". And that the worst of the worst of the bunch is Shrub himself.

This is great news. Who knows, maybe even Texas will go for Kerry....

5. Good enough to win the state
And thereby its Electoral College votes.

Now, if the news had been that he's on track to get less than 50%, I'd be grinning happily.

8. I think 55% for bush here in TX is still a tiny bit too optimistic
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 11:51 PM by Moonbeam_Starlight
I'm thinking low 50s. Kerry will get 45% or higher. Not a lot higher but right around there.

And Nader isn't nearly as much of a factor this time. Kerry got Nader 2000 votes here.

So bush is close, but he needs to oootch that 55% figure down just a teeny bit.

If that happens, can we officially be a swing state next time?

Yee ha!

9. It'll be closer than that in Texas
When Junior moves to Crawford in January, we want him to know he's not entirely welcome -- but that we're happier to have him here in Texas than back in DC. ;)
