4. I'm not allowing myself to get emotional about that idea.
If and when it happens, I'll be sobbing hysterically. Bank on it.

It's HOPE. That's what it is - a very wonderful and scary feeling all at the same time. The anticipation is driving me crazy. :hi:

12. That's exactly it
Hope is a wonderful, scary feeling. It's scary because, if you're wrong then you're that much more devasted. But you can look at it the other way ... if we lose, at least we experienced the wonderful hopeful feelings. :) But I really think we're going to win!

9. After the election,
I'm going out to buy the nicest flag I can find. But I'll wait until Inauguration Day to put it up. I refuse to fly it under chimpy's misadministration.

10. I listen to the "Born in the USA" CD a lot
And I get goosebumps everytime I hear "No Surrender." He is going to be such an amazing president. So dignified and courageous and full of integrity. It'll be nice to be proud of the President of the United States again.

18. Shook hands with Wesley Clark today in NM
It was Wesley Clark who inspired the hell out of me and started me on this journey almost one year ago today. Today listening to him give a get out the vote speech to all of us with so much determination, heart and soul left me in a state of unreality that this was all coming to an end. I shook his hand and looked him straight in the eye and told him I was the first person in New Mexico to sign up with the Draft Clark movement. I then told him "I admire your integrity!" He looked so humble and kind and soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo concerned about our country. He looked at me and said in such a humble way "Thank You!"

All he cared about was doing EVERYTHING in his power to help Kerry get elected and help him win New Mexico in these final days.

So my journey ends the way it started. With Wesley Clark! Only this time he wasn't with Tim Russert on Meet the Press, he was looking me straight in the eye and saying "Thank You!"

I drove home feeling very calm and comforted from Wesley Clark. All the nervousness and tension was gone and this whole experience became so spiritual to me. Looking at General Clark I could feel his integrity and power radiating as bright as the sun it's self. While he was not John Kerry standing their I felt like a part of John Kerry was their inside General Clark. They both possess greatness, kindness, sincerity and it radiates in such a profound way it leaves a person in awe and feeling safe and comfortable and more than anything with a restored faith in the future of mankind and with a renewed faith that democracy does work!

So yes, sitting here on my computer alone after such an amazing journey waiting for history to unfold I most certainly became choked up! For the first time in four years my heart is full again and I am optimistic about the future of our world. What a wonderful experience this has all been win or loose!
