Poll question: What will Cheney do when Bush Co. is out of power?
What will the puppetmaster do once the puppet is rejected tomorrow?

1. Return to Halliburton ... but ...

In all reality, just keep doing the same job he's doing right now. He's only stepped down from his position on paper, IMO.

4. The big one 'lizabeth, the BIG one!
Nah, I wouldn't even wish that upon old Dick. He should be sent off to pasture, and then made into glue, when the time comes.

6. As much as would like to see him...
... in a cage in Guantanamo, pardons will make that unlikely.

My best guess is that he will continue to be the ultimate insider. He'll consult for Carlyle, he'll make all the meetings of the Council for National Policy, the summer get-togethers at Bohemian Grove and will sit on the boards of several large corporations, to guarantee sufficient income, and if he has to time, do some travelling and schmoozing for Kissinger & Associates.

9. He'll do what any capo de capo does.
Practice his butchery, extortion, and thievery from a different, and probably plusher, office. Unless Spitzer indicts his criminal ass.

10. Unfortunately
He'll go back to his old life, being a rich CEO, living it up. If I had my way, the whole administration would go to prison but I'll settle for kicking them out of D.C.
