Our Reaction To A Kerry Win

The anger in us has been growing for four years. It is our innermost desire to get in the faces of those who have made us feel unpatriotic. I can understand the anger...I've been there ...I AM there.

But I beg you to rise above your anger and to take the higher road.

If you truly believe that the Right has been misguided...that they are operating in good faith...being true to their pinciples...you, as a a Democrat must respect the courage of their convictions.

Please do not, for the sake of our country, retaliate in ways that you would be ashamed of in the months to come.

I am a proud American. And regardless of my hatred for those who find themselves on the Right, I hope that I can set aside my anger for the sake of our democracy.

I hope that you can do the same.

as to the absolute lowdown deceitful shenanigans their party has been using, perform some self reflection, and clean house.

The cultural consciousness must change in fundamental (not fundamentalist) ways and judge the bizarro publican new speak where their policies and what they say mean the opposite, and their hypocrisy and politics of hate are completely antithetical to the American ideals of equal justice for all, and human rights for humans, not corporations.

The publican era of prevarication is over and we no longer see "through a glass darkly" but crystal clearly the economic elitism and crony war profiteering that has driven all public policy for the past quadrennium. publican sheeple may have been "misguided" but they actively participated in the undoing of America with their willful ignorance, and that, to me, is NOT in good faith.

publicans can still live here, BUT THEY CAN'T RUN THIS COUNTRY ANY MORE. I don't think they should be beaten physically, but don't ask me to respect them. They were arrogantly wrong, unethical and immoral, and their day is done.
