3. It looks like a test (note Adams county results)
Though by the eve of the election it would be nice to have the test data erased.

Does anyone really think that Fingerhut and Voinovich would be neck and neck with about 30% each?

40. This is no test
It doesn't even look like the real website of the secretary of the state of Ohio, complete eijit that he is. It's a fake, not a test, IMO.

11. This same thing happened a few weeks ago with another test.
The station said the next day that this is the way they test their systems. I actually think that's the truth. I don't know how you found this, but I'm sure there are lots of test like this, with false info. I think they really believed no one would ever find it before it was taken down.

26. You can save it. Just.....
Go to the page you want to save. Then go up on top and click on "File" and when the menu comes down, click on "Save As". After you click on "Save as", a window will appear and on top it will show you the file that is currently open. You can save it to that file just by clicking on the "Save" button in that window. If you want to save it to a different file, you can, but wherever you save it, just make sure you remember which file you saved it in. You can also re-name the page you're saving if you want to, but don't worry about that right now. Hope that helps.

18. Nope.
It's just a 'smoke test' with bogus numbers. Though I hope those with screenshots of the numbers they posted as 'smoke tests' will check them carefully against the totals tomorrow night.

Because you can never be too sure, with these people.

I'm really tempted to call the voter hotline at (866) 687 8683, but I can't figure out what the "serweb" in the URL means and I can't find it through the regular OH SoS website.

have the totals as ties instead of the repugs winning the presidency and the senate? I object to that bias.

Just in case. Adams County definitely looks like test numbers.

But--they didn't clear them. The Republicans have slim leads in the larger counties, where the votes are easier to disguise. Is this more than just a test?

without being accused of "rigging".

I would want to check out the ability of my site to accurately display the data that I feed into it, and check the formatting for a story, etc etc BEFORE I have to do it for real, not during.
