Why GWB will win tomorrow.....
if you and everyone one of your friends, relatives, co-workers, enemies, and ex-lovers don't get off your collective butts and get to the polls!!!

then when you have voted, you can go by your local Dem HQ (or ACT office, or Moveon team ect) an do something for an hour or two or the whole day in helping make sure that every Kerry supporter gets to the polls AND VOTES...

Tonight I saw a guy in a wheelchair who had to use a straw to control it....working for Kerry's election... what are YOU doing??

- No more talk of landslide...until after the last voter in line has cast the last ballot
- No more posting on DU until the dems and other organizations have completed every call to each Kerry supporter identified
- No more "What will Kerry do first?"...until each voter has gotten a ride to the polls han needs one...
- No drinking until the reported numbers are greater than Bush's ability to disenfranchise them

Seriously...no talk ONLY DO...DO ANYTHING you can to GOTV....

or the subject above will become true....

1. Landslide
I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you get bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too

Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down

If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down.

~Stevie Nicks

4. No Retreat No Surrender...No Victory UNTIL We Really Know
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 01:23 AM by IMRadioactive
I agree...I'm very optimistic and our family is eager to get to the polls (too bad they don't open at Midnight, we'd be there).

It's so tempting to starting dancing, but the next 18 Hours (It's Midnight here in Chicago, polls close at 7pm)...are crucial. It's not only getting yourself to the polls, but checking and double-checking that everyone you know who can...VOTES!

Please...Call your family and friends during the day tomorrow and just ask if they voted. This sounds stupid, but there will be some who either see the early results or has a change of heart or gets lazy and decides they just don't feel like getting to the polls. While I think this is a small number, it's still a number and we need every vote in every state. This isn't just an election we're winning here, this is a major statement that will speak loudly for the next few years.

We're real close to the prize now...more reason to keep the eyes on it with the greatest intensity you can give for just a little longer...then we can start with the bongos and the cigars.

I'm starting to feel a dark cloud lifting...winning with a plurality of the popular vote will mean the sun shines very bright.

Cheers to all Democrats. Our day is here, seize the moment!!!

12. Every member of my family, and all my friends, and my neighbors
HAVE ALREADY VOTED IN TEXAS. 100% FOR JOHN KERRY.

Exception: My daughter in Virginia will vote today. No early voting in Virginia. ANOTHER KERRY VOTE. And she got her next door neighbors to go for Kerry.

18. Call your local Dem office
No doubt, they will have a place for you. Pollwatcher, canvasser, caller...check with them and they will know the area most in need that coincides with what you are willing to do. :)

After the polls close, meet up with the local Dems. It will be unbelievably inspiring! :bounce:
