I could swear we won the voter registration battle in Florida. Does anyone have the numbers?

Buy the way, who else has noticed that Ralph Reed looks just like a young John O'Neil? They both look like they sell Amway! Slimy, shallow, evil and narrow minded!

4. My sentiments exactly about Reed. I saw him on with Sen. Graham, and that
bimbo Paula Zahn. Reed makes one want to just slap him, over and over.

16. Ron.....what has always made RR dangerous is
he sounds sane. The fundies are all loonies drinking way to much koolaid. RR is very well educated, never goes into a fundie diatribe and always very articulate. He has always been up top of my Most Dangerous man in America.

7. Ralph Reed
What a load of sanctimonious sewer slime. The more self righteous right wingers get the more evil they appear. I wouldn't buy a used car, Amway, or political info from this Buy-Bull thumping pinhead.

14. Very Well Said!! LOL
That puke is SUCH a snake in the grass. His earlier causes are the reason so many clinics got torched, bombed or the like. I'd like to know why that Klansman isn't behind bars!

I'd like to see him parachuted out over Iraq...Sadr City or Fallujah seems fitting....I wonder how tough he'd talk then.

8. We should be doing better than the repugs
Here's a NYTimes article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/09/26/politics/campaign/26vote.html?pagewanted=3

QUOTE:

In Florida, where The Times was able to analyze data from 60 of the state's 67 counties, new registrations this year also are running far ahead of the 2000 pace, with Republican areas trailing Democratic ones. In the 150 ZIP codes that voted most heavily for Mr. Bush, 96,000 new voters have registered this year, up from 86,000 in 2000, an increase of about 12 percent.

But in the heaviest of Democratic areas, 110 ZIP codes that gave two-thirds or more of their votes to Al Gore, new registrations have increased to 125, 000 from 77,000, a jump of more than 60 percent.

In Duval County, where a confusing ballot design in 2000 helped disqualify thousands of ballots in black precincts, new registrations by black voters are up 150 percent over the pace of 2000.

"We're using guerrilla tactics to get into the malls and sign up voters before the security guards chase us off," said Adam Broad, 40, an organizer in Duval County with the Florida Consumer Action Network Foundation, one of dozens of community groups registering in Florida.

The groups are building nationwide databases of voters and have committed millions of dollars for continued contact with them before and on Election Day.

"If every Democrat showed up at the polls, you'd win, no question," said James Koehler, a precinct organizer in Columbus working for MoveOn.org, another soft-money group. Mr. Koehler said MoveOn hoped to have a volunteer in every precinct to call neighbors on Nov. 2.

11. Link to FL voter reg numbers
Dems have a slight lead. I believe I saw on CNN today that dems increased 12% and republicans 13%.

17. If Dems already had more registered voters than republican
a 12 percent increase of their previos total is a lot higher than a 13 percent increase in the rethug total.

13. I think updated rolls show more Democrats. Look at this chart.
It is from one of the most conservative counties in Florida. Lakeland is the largest city, 80 to 1000 thousand. It is primarily a rural type county, as opposed to Hillsborough for example. These are interesting demographics. I think they show that more Republicans were satisfied with their party than Democrats were satisfied with theirs.

Include me in that, as the Democrats here have been just like Republicans, in fact, many are.

19. He's just a motherfucker.
Demoralized yet? Because that was his point. Give up, motherfucker, stick-up-his-ass Ralph Reed told you it isn't even going to be close.

Remember that story about the college kids who got 'tricked' into registering as Republicans? Guess what has been happening in Florida.

Did Ralphy tell you that there was a Republican majority of registered voters, or did he tell you that Republicans signed up more voters than Democrats? Or did he tell you that Republicans signed up a higher % of voters than Democrats? Because if he's not claiming there's more Republicans than Democrats in Florida, guess what, there surely are not.

We're going to win Florida. Huge.
