Madame Butterfly is going out with typical competence and class. This article in Tuesday's Palm Beach Post details the absentee ballot screw ups, including many that did not arrive as promised on Monday.

On Monday, Florida Sen. Ron Klein fumed when LePore declined to waive rules so nursing home and hospital administrators could pick up ballots for residents who ordered absentee ballots but didn't receive them. According to state law, a person can pick up absentee ballots for only two people.
Further, those picking up absentee ballots had to stand in line with the throngs waiting to vote at the county's eight early voting locations. Unlike in previous years, absentee ballots will not be available today. That's why Jeff Tepsitch, chief of social services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Riviera Beach, and three other hospital workers spent much of the day Monday waiting in line at the elections office.
He admitted it was frustrating. But, he said, he had no choice. "We want to make sure they can vote," he said. "One of the guys who wants one has a son in Iraq."
