Theresa LePore is determined to suppress the nursing home vote
Madame Butterfly is going out with typical competence and class. This article in Tuesday's Palm Beach Post details the absentee ballot screw ups, including many that did not arrive as promised on Monday.

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/politics/content/local_news/epaper/2004/11/02/c1c_absentee_1102.html

"Elections Supervisor Theresa LePore said about 100,000 absentee ballots were requested. Among those allegedly not delivered were some headed to elderly and infirm residents of nursing homes.

On Monday, Florida Sen. Ron Klein fumed when LePore declined to waive rules so nursing home and hospital administrators could pick up ballots for residents who ordered absentee ballots but didn't receive them. According to state law, a person can pick up absentee ballots for only two people.

Further, those picking up absentee ballots had to stand in line with the throngs waiting to vote at the county's eight early voting locations. Unlike in previous years, absentee ballots will not be available today. That's why Jeff Tepsitch, chief of social services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Riviera Beach, and three other hospital workers spent much of the day Monday waiting in line at the elections office.

He admitted it was frustrating. But, he said, he had no choice. "We want to make sure they can vote," he said. "One of the guys who wants one has a son in Iraq."

1. Honestly, I Want This B&%$# Fired!!!
I want her a$$ hoisted up in a sling and I want her pelted with spit and vomit.

There is NO reason. NO REASON AT ALL why this couldn't have been done better, smarter and more efficiently.

I wish the misery she's caused right back on her 10 fold.

4. She was fired on August 31
In the Florida primary. A latenight comeback by her opponent that had DUers rejoicing, in multiple threads and forums. This is the last election we'll have to fade Theresa's remarkable bias and ineptitude.

3. TERESA LePORE IS THE ULTIMATE BUSH GOON.
JEB BUSH WHO WAS, ALLEGEDLY, SO CONCERNED WITH THE INTEGRITY OF THE VOTING PROCESS THAT HE FIRED MIRIAM OLIPHANT FROM HER ELECTED POST AS SUPERVISOR OF ELECTION IN BROWARD COUNTY FOR WHAT HE CALLED "INCOMPETENCE' (ONLY TO REPLACE HER WITH ANOTHER OF HIS BUSH GOONS: BRENDA SNIPES) SHOULD BE EQUALLY AS CONCERNED WITH THERESA LePORE'S "MAKE UP AS YOU GO RULES THAT CLOG UP THE VOTING PROCESS AND DISENFRANCHISE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS" ... HOWEVER... HERE WE SEE THAT IT IS NOT SO MUCH THE INTEGRITY OF THE VOTERS OR OF THE VOTING PROCESS THAT JEB BUSH IS INTERESTED IN AS HE IS IN MAKING SURE THAT HIS GOONS OPEN THE DOOR FOR HIS ELDER BROTHER TO CONTINUE HIS POWER GRAB ON AMERICA, IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND ON THE REST OF THE FREE WORLD.
