Carry these important phone numbers with you to the polls

If you have questions about voting, go to the MoveOnPAC.org website for a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any trouble voting, make a report to the Common Cause hotline at 1-866-MYVOTE1.

Another hotline has been set up by a coalition of nonpartisan groups to deal with the most serious problems on Election Day. 1-866-OUR-VOTE is the "911" of voter suppression hotlines. Please don't call unless your problem is serious enough that you have to talk to a lawyer immediately.

Write it on your hand right now, on a piece of paper, or wherever...just make sure you have it with you when you vote. Even if you don't need it, you may encounter someone who will need.

2. yep. yours is another great idea.

so...bring a camera to document funny business outside. some people suggest bringing your photo ID and a copy of a proof of address doc like a water bill.

then like you said...bring those all important phone numbers.

if you have a cell phone, having that handy is good.

bring a radio?

bring snacks and bottles of water if you anticipate a line.
