Nov 2d: Day of The Dead. Remember Them When Voting
Remember the 1100+ American soldiers who lost their lives in Bush's oil war.

Remember the tens of thousands of Iraqis who died for weapons that did not exist.

Remember the thousands of Americans who died on 9/11 because Bush did not protect our nation.

Remember, and Vote.

4. Vote in their honor...
Take a name from one of the lists below to the polls today and use your vote in remembrance of those who no longer have a voice.

<http://www.iraqbodycount.net/names.htm>
<http://icasualties.org/oif/Details.aspx>

I'm taking the names of two young marines with me today, both fine young men who died as a result of the atrocity known as the Iraq war, Marine Lance Corporal's Alexander Arredondo & Jeffrey Lucey.

Marine Lance Corporal Alexander Arredondo: He was killed in Najaf as the result of enemy action. His father was severely burned when he set fire to the van of the Marine officers who brought him the news. His father, Carlos, turned 44 the day he got the news.

Marine Lance Corporal Jeff Lucey: Jeff came home from Iraq, broken from the war, and the VA let him down. He hung himself from a rafter in the cellar of his family home.

Last night I added 9 new names to a Iraq Marine Corps Memorial I have kept online for the last year and a half. Last night I wept again for them. And last night I once again resolved myself to doing everything in my power to removing the soulless fascists who started this heinous war, those who work daily to undermine the American freedoms I served to protect. Today I will vote for John Kerry, an American hero, and I then will join those at the polls who are watching to ensure that these GOP thugs do not try to steal another election from us. And if they do violate the will of the people again, I promise you that I will uphold the oath I have taken so many times in my life, the one that said "I swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

No retreat, no surrender!
