lots and lots of first time voters, and 2 great Kerry campaign workers pasing out voter's rights papers :bounce: some old ladt was hre asking people to vote for *, but she seemed awful lonely  so much so that a rather wimp rethug type shoed up--probably a local puke member, and they kept to themselves!

7. Great, I'm here in VA Beach
Both my husband and I are poll watchers for Kerry later in the day at our polling place. This should be interesting. Any problems encountered in lines where you are?

3. Voted in Alexandria, VA. Was there before the polls opened and there
was quite a line. By the time I got in line and waited, the line went around the block. Never seen that before.

Didn't see any Dems handing out ballots, though, only pubs. But we did have some "Voting Rights" people stationed outside.

I miss my old precinct---it always had a bake sale.

On edit: I whispered to the voting machine, "Even if you've been programmed for evil, just record the votes correctly and honestly." Can't hurt!

8. I voted in VA Beach (Kempsville) number 175 at 6:45...no problems
a line when I arrived and when I left. It was heartwarming.

I am wearing blue today in honor of President Kerry!
