Early Return Keys: VA, PA, NJ, FL...
If Kerry picks off a state like VA, shrubbie can pack his bags. Likewise if FL is clearly in our column, game over.

On the other hand if some unpleasant surprise like NJ or PA going red happened, it would bode poorly for our chances. Not going to happen though. Kerry with at least 2 percent popular vote and around 300 EV.

2. NJ is not going red. Turnout is high in the densely populated
northeastern part of the state. Fear not.

5. I'm not saying that is at all likely. Just that that would be an early
disaster, like FL or VA coming in Dem would be for shrubco. My post says that. I understand the touchiness though, LOL.

12. And knock this PA going red crap off
Unless EVERYBODY in the "Alabama" portion of the state goes out and votes, I don't see that happening.

10. I agree 100%
Those two are the early ones to watch. If either go blue, we're golden!

Likewise, though very unlikely, if NJ goes red we're probably screwed.

8. Mom said voting was very crowded
at 9:00 a.m. She waited 45 minutes at her polling place where she has never had to wait at all. She was voter #455 and the poll worker said in a good year they get 500 tops. There were over a hundred in line when she left.

She is in Portsmouth, VA.

9. If high turnout is any indication for Kerry
Va is a slam dunk ! I waited in line 2 hours today, first time it took more than 5 minutes in 18 years.
