Voting for Kerry is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
So I put on my black hoodie, hung out my flag and headed for the polls. It's raining and the lines were long but the election judges were very efficient and it all went smoothly. It was really nice to see a lot of people in the line to register (we have same-day registration in MN). No Diebold machines here -- we have the old-fashioned and reliable optical scanners, and you can see the machine count your ballot when you stick it in the reader. It felt so good after this horrible four years to fill in that little oval next to the line for Kerry and Edwards. I took my time and savored the moment. My precinct will go overwhelmingly for Kerry.

Man, that felt great.

Now that I have my little red "I Voted" sticker, I'll be working for Election Protection this afternoon as a poll monitor -- that will feel great, too. They say the sun will be coming out this afternoon....

2. I disagree
Standing in front of the White House with a poster that says "GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE!" after John Kerry is officially declared the winner is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. And it's something I wholeheartedly intend to do right after Ohio and Florida are declared "blue".
