My vote story
Just voted around 9:45 AM this morning. I am in Massachusetts, so I'd say its pretty safe blue. But I do live in an area that traditionally is a bit more Republican than the rest of the state. Still, Kerry should win easily in my town, just not by the same margin as state wide. Anyways, car in front of me had this sticker as I pulled into the polling place parking lot: "God is NOT a Republican"

Then, as I was waiting to slide my ballot into the computer, I actually got a glimpse of the ballot of the woman in front of me....Kerry/Edwards was circled in!!!

Crowds were worse than I have ever seen. The parking lot was a mess, people scrambling for spots everywhere. This was at 9:30 AM, usually I vote around 6PM or so after work and that is the busiest time. I can attest to that from my past sign holding experiences as well. Turnout in Massachusetts is gonna be nuts.
