2. Hope it's not the same as in past years
Every 4 years, there's an apparent swell of turnout in the morning that dissipates by evening. I'm not saying there's not record turnout this year, but I've heard this before.

Sorry for being a wet-blanket, and you know I hope I'm wrong this time!

5. Great. Will the votes be counted - ACCURATELY?
With all the Jim Crowe crap going on, one has to wonder. If Kerry wins, will he be 'allowed' to take office?

6. Precinct 420 Indian Rocks Beach, FL (Report)
The las and I got to the polling place around 9:30. The line was 2 hrs. long. Talked to an 80 something guy that has lived in the area for over 30 years. He says he has never seen this many people at the polls. Plus we had another lady (54 yo) in front of us that is a registered Repub and is VOTING FOR KERRY. She says she can not take this anymore! She also agreed with me that the Dems. Have more conservative views than those who are in office now (i.e. Balanced budget, smaller government, etc.. Could be a great day today!!!

13. How about the year America woke up to the fact that Democracy
can easily slip away to theocracy or fascism, or something altogether Un-American if you aren't paying attention and if you let it go.

8. It is here
My precinct is very small and I was voter #85 at 11:35 AM. The voting officials told me they're lucky to get 85 voters all day under normal conditions. Lookin' good in NE PA.

9. I'm usually the one of the first to vote in my precinct...
but when I got there this morning (fifteen minutes before the polling started), there was a line around the corner (as I was hoping).

:D

10. Huge Turnout in S.C.
I usually breeze thru in 10 minutes. There was a 45 minute wait in line this morning. And my district is rather small and rural. And a cornucopia of citizens. Young and old. White and black. My district is 85 percent black, so I know they were mostly Dems. It is a great sign. We may not win South Carolina for Kerry, but I get a feeling we're going to take our Country back today. I drove by a small church that was a polling place and it had a line with at least 60 people in it. And this was mid morning when it is usually a slow time. Hopefully we'll put Inez Tannenbaum in the Senate.
