I wish I hadn't voted early.
Only because I am reading sooo many great stories about experiences DU'ers have had at the polls today. I feel like I missed out on the fun. Kinda like going to a football game a day early. Oh well...I'll experience it vicariously though all you DU'ers. Also didn't get to wear an I voted sticker at the supermarket. EVERYONE had 1 on.

3. You did the right thing, better safe that sorry.
I would have voted early had I had the opportunity.

4. This is an issue I've been giving serious thought lately.
The more I think about it, the more I am against "early" and "absentee" voting. I think they should be severely limited to people overseas ONLY.

I think we should take our democracy seriously enough that we make the effort to come to the polls, in person, on election day.
I also think it should be a national holiday. This would free people up to give rides and otherwise assist those who need help to do their civic duty.

I know, there would still be issues, but I just really think we need to take going to the polls, on election day, as a sacred duty to our democracy.

5. It wasn't all that fun.
It rained here in OH, but it looks like it's maybe clearing up a bit.
I wish I could vote early but there is no early voting in OH, I think.

6. While I'm all in favor of making things easy and convenient,
I'm downright old-fashioned about showing up on my polling place on Election Day.

If I were in a Diebold state I would sure as hell have voted absentee, but that's not the case here.
