I'm crying right now
I keep thinking about the past four years, and how Bush stole Election 2000.

I keep thinking about the rage I feel every time I see him on my television.

I keep thinking about the revulsion I feel every time he opens his stupid monkey mouth.

I keep thinking about how he spit in my face, and in the face of all my people, each and every fucking day.

I keep thinking about all of those poor people in Iraq who have been murdered by this monstrous asshole.

I'm trying not to watch the news. I don't even know if I will watch the returns.

I just know that I am overcome with so many emotions right now.

Bush is a fucking monster. A cancer. A dangerous murdering idiot.

And he has GOT to go.

52. Healing is definitely in order
That's what I cry over...how divided this nation is, and how hatred has been allowed to spill into the streets from the top of the Bush Administration all the way down, and across the airwaves throughout this country.

NO MORE.

7. I have been waiting for this day for four years
When I went to my usually quiet polling place and had to wait 45 minutes to vote because the line stretched hundreds of people outside, I almost began to cry.

I feel the rage in the public, I feel the disbelief, and I feel that we are all ready to wake from this nightmare today!

woman in line was so excited, she said she hardly slept last nite, got up early and decided to vote early. We were in line at 6:45, a good 50 people there, all went smoothly. The line was tripled when we left. It has stayed very busy all day. Cocoa. Fl

I have a good feeling Fl belongs to Kerry! Many college age students voting, we are near the college.

This little man has put this great country's soul in mortal danger. I want a great cleansing, I want to feel clean again. 33. Well I've had two bouts of weeping today-and I expect many more
No shame in crying.

First) The very liberal street I drive down to take my daughter to school has a zillion Kerry signs, and one huge B/C on a balcony that I've been cringing driving by since it's been there for about a month.

It was gone today.

Second) Driving by those people holding Vote here signs in the absolute monsoon of a pouring rain (and we have been able to vote for three weeks here now in Oregon-all you have to do is drop it off)

The passion of Democracy.

35. I have spent the last four years
in a steaming rage.

I have experienced grief at what Bush has done to my country. I have
experienced a profound sadness at the stupidity of our fellow citizens
who actually voted for him the first time.

But I dedicated myself to speaking out at every opportunity to
change people's viewpoint of Bush and his cabal of thieves. I
made myself speak or write every day to beat back the darkness of
fascism and/or ignorance wherever I could. I lost a few friends, and
lost a brother to the other side, but held my ground and will continue
to fight even after this election is over.

This matters so much to me. I have loved being able to be here
every day even if I didn't post. You kept me focused, and ready
and willing to fight with the facts and with all the passion I have.

After Kerry wins today, lets keep marching forward and take back
the House, the Senate and the soul of our country.

54. I've been on the verge several times already...
But we must all remember that our task does not end with a Kerry win.

1. We must move aggressively to undo the damage wrought by the BushCo Regime.

2. We must unite our country--and that includes reaching out to moderate Republicans who have also been marginalized.

3. We must track down each and every one of the treasonous bastards who sought to destroy our nation, whether they be in government (e.g., Rumsfeld, Scalia), media (e.g., Drudge, Coulter), academia (e.g., torturemaster John Yoo), or corporate America (e.g., C. Boyden Gray). And we must use every LEGAL means available to us to neutralize them. Evil incarnate must not be allowed to regroup, and threaten our democracy again.

I feel such ...I can't think of the word..I mean, revulsion from the moment that lying psychopath smirked his way into office, but also the feelings I have about the people who support him. The pious, ignorant Xtians determined to fight evil and absolutely clueless about , the Arab hating Jewish fundies, the Corporate power free-market nuts......they just boggle my mind.

He's done and they need to evolve. Only facing accountability for their actions will do it. They'll reap what they sow, hopefully sooner than later.

65. I'm too tied up in knots to cry - yet. But I know how you feel, girlfriend
Everything you said here - I agree with.

I'm just dining on cuticles all day...

Ordinarily, I don't have high blood pressure. Today might be different.

67. I try not to cry

But if (when) John Kerry wins tonight I may weep like a baby. I, like most of us, have had our entire emotional being wrapped up in this for 4 years now.

73. That's exactly when I'm going to cry.
When John Kerry wins tonight. I will shed tears of joy and tears of grief over what this cabal has wrought upon us and the people all over the world.

In less than 12 hours we'll be rid of the Chimp forever. Should we start planning the reelection campaign already?

72. I Agree with you 100%.
That why in the past 6 months I have been talking to the young adults about voting. I have been like my own get out the vote nut. I even had a couple of friends that said they would wait till next week to talk to me. I don't think I could handle having to hear that Stupid M.F for 4 more years. Peace I'm out of here going to work.

Power to the People!

74. I feel your pain, Midori
:hi:

I'm feeling sick to my stomach today. It's been a long four years since the coup. I can see him standing there in the pouring rain that day at the Capitol while Al Gore, the real President, was forced to witness the Chimp's speech. The usurper was so hated that day that he couldn't even get out of his car to walk to the White House lest he be hit with an egg.

Hopefully, today will be the end of his sorry residency. The world will be jubilant – maybe there'll even be fireworks.

78. How can you tell if I'm crying? If my lips are moving. . . . .
My hubby works swing shift (3 p.m - 1 a.m.) so today, like every morning, I got to fill him in on all the latest news. As we stood in line to vote -- not quite an hour and a half -- I tried to tell him all the stories that had been posted here on DU, and the pictures. With every tale, my throat would tighten up and the tears well in my eyes.

Hubby chuckled at me, told me I was taking it too much to heart.

Then I showed him some of the pics that have been posted here. I think he sniffled once or twice, too. (Of course, he SAYS it's just a chronic sinus condition. . . . . )

79. After the SCOTUS announced the theft of the 2000 election, I went out
into my backyard, sat on the grass and cried my eyes out over the end of democracy in America.

When I finished crying, I looked up at the sky and vowed that I would never stop fighting until we got it back.

I feel the same way right now as I did then.

I WILL NEVER FORGET. NEVER.

83. tears of joy darlin' by tonight they will be tears of joy.
We are there.

I don't know squat about how hard it is to be a racial minority in america but I was raised a thrid generation godless commie pinko in Utah. They make us feel like we don't belong which is a crime.

If there's a god s/he will punish them for being meant to atheists (giggle) and s/he'll take me cause I'm good company. I'll get there before you Catwoman and argue your case. I'm a damned good lawyer so I'll be seeing you.

On a more serious note, the first thing I noticed about bush was the overwhelming feeling that he did not give a shit about me. He didn't care what I thought. Such a change from Clinton. Turned me off right away. (Not my religion or my class or anything. Just a feeling that he does not care about people. He has no empathy. No soul. He's a frat boy who only looks out for his own.)

Good riddance.

85. I understand....
I feel exhausted with the intensity of my negative
feelings for AWOL and his administration. Not a day
has gone by that I did not feel insulted and offended
by them. Its been tough, but sure it is almost over
now.

Hang in there!

86. Hey, CW, we're not gonna back down now.
We had that blow-monkey's ass from the time he played Top Gun on that aircraft carrier. That's when he "jumped the shark".

He's going down.

"...come on out with your hands held high,
drop your guns, baby, reach for the sky,
got you surrounded and you ain't got a chance,
send you back to Texas, make you work on your ranch,
yeah yeah (oh yeah)..."
