Guy parked beside me at the poll just cancelled out my vote damnit.
We came out at the same time and he had all the W and B/C stickers. Then I saw the big stupid one in the middle of the pick-up's window. It said "If Kerry is the Answer, the Question Must Have Been Stupid." What the fuck does that even mean? Yeah, redneck you love your boy George, but do you honestly think he is SMARTER THAN KERRY???

Couldn't help myself and mouthed "LOSER" to him as I got in my vehicle where he had to have seen the K/E sticker. Thankfully he didn't pull out the shotgun!

3. Just remember, you cancelled his vote
And if you hadn't voted, that would've been one up for Shrub.

We know there will be people voting Repug, fools that they are -- we simply have to outnumber them.

4. That's not so bad... my husband cancelled out my vote.
Despite my best attempts, no dice in opening his eyes to the lies of */Rush/Hannity/Boortz. It can get really tense at the old homestead here.

9. How in the Hell do you do that?
If I lived with a dittohead who voted for the retard one of two things would surely happen. I would murder him, or I would be Single and looking in a flash.

You are a strong woman. Or crazy!

10. If I was married to a repug
I probably could refrain from murdering him, but he wouldn't be getting any, either.

18. I married a little Republican Princess 29 years ago.
But she saw the light after about 3 years. Last night at dinner she told me she couldn't live with me if I were a Repug and voting for Bush in this election.

I do get along well though with her Repug mother. We just don't talk politics and I take comfort in knowing when she passes away she will become a major financial donor to progressive causes. Better late than never for her.

6. lol
I parked next to the woman I canceled out at the grocery store yesterday. She was giving me the hairy eyeball the entire time we were putting our groceries in our cars. I was talking on my cell to a 20 year old first time voter about how to vote provisionally if he was not on the rolls. She didn't like that either.

11. You're in rural PA, right?
Don't worry about it. Just consider it cancelling out to pave the way for Philly and Pittsburgh to roll over the rest of the goons.

12. Nope, Alabama.
Turn out is high here as elsewhere. I saw lots of young blacks there, which is good, but also lots of elderly blacks, which is bad here. Local news shows the latter are voting Dumb butt on one issue: Gay Marriage. No matter how you try to convince them that Kerry is against it too, they've been hit hard by the churches. Sad, really.

I like the other posts here reminding me I cancelled out Jethro!

what people do in the privacy of the poll booth.:hippie: He might be an undercover Dem operative infiltrated deep within the ruffian GOP group.

Occam, though, would argue he's more likely a redneck freeper.

You both participated. You got to be part of the massive tidal wave of change that will usher in a new era of openness and honesty in government. He got to vote for a loser.

Look at it the right way.

We are winning this thing. Big time.

My final prediction: Kerry by 5-6 points nationally, and by 20 EVs

21. I had an odd one today
Spoke with one guy who saw my "I voted today" sticker and he asked if I minded telling him who I voted for... I said "Kerry" for x, y & z reasons.

He said he voted for Bush... he disliked everything about Bush, but he hates John Edwards more than Bush. He thinks trial lawyers are the lowest scum of the earth on the planet (I think those were his exact words...) and railed on about Edwards being involved in all these class action suits.

22. I guess if it was his small child's guts that got sucked out...
he wouldn't want Edward's or any trial lawyer to defend him against the Army of lawyers on the Corporate payroll huh?

Just goes to show how the propaganda works. Half this country votes against their very own interests because they take their eyes off the ball.

26. I mentioned that
But, he said that was good, but it didn't make up for his participating in all these class action suits. I said I didn't know anything about that (which I don't...)

I think I said we're not voting for Vice President.

27. For real.
And if he really wants to compare apples to apples, how in the world can he defend no-bid contracts to Halliburton with Cheney currently collecting checks from them? Unbelievable. But, I believe you because we have been living in Bizzarro World, in the city called Twilight Zone for the last 4 years.

23. Yeah, everyone hates lawyers...
...until THEY need one.

When it's his kid that's been grievously injured by a defective product, I think he'll change his tune on trial lawyers.

Everyone hates lawyers EVEN when they need one... they just don't say it! ;-)

Remember - your vote nixed his vote too. So you are responsible for bringing balance to the election process! How many people can say that?

28. Same here - had a Bushie parked behind my car when
I came out of the poll - figured he was either a * voter or since he was in his car on his cell and a bit too well-dressed for my hood he might've been a Bush poll watching lackey. I wanted to give him the * 1 finger salute but instead gave him a thumbs down as I walked past his car.
