So what's the procedure as far as posting exit polls?

I may have some... I know Skinner's said we shouldn't post them, but I'm itching to. Can we post a link to a site with exit polls, or can we exchange them via PM, or are we supposed to just ignore them?

OnEdit: I was stupid to offer PMing people exit polls. I would hardly have time to do anything else for the rest of the day -- I hope you understand... But hey, check out the Internets and some liberal blogs who don't have such restrictions. I doubt you'll see these on conservative blogs. ;) That was as much of a hint as I'll give.

People are still voting. What matters is that we're doing everything we can to win this thing. We don't want any exit polls on the site today. We'll know the results soon enough.

It really changes the dynamics of voting out west.

I've set up a mailing list where you can post exit polls, and or discuss them. It's a temporary list. It will be deleted Friday, Nov. 5.

You must subscribe.
To subscribe, send an e-mail to majordomo@lcsweb.net with the phrase "subscribe exitpolls" as the message body. Leave out the quotes.

Shortly thereafter you will receive an e-mail from the mailing list manager with a confirmation code in it. Follow the instructions to confirm your subscription.

After you send back your confirmation code you will be able to post to the list and you will receive all e-mail sent to the list.

To post to the list, send an e-mail to exitpolls@lcsweb.net. Your e-mail will be sent out to the whole list.

I myself will not be posting any exit polls, that is up to the list members. I thought I'd just make this available to anyone interested.
