Great news - started the day holding up Kerry signs on the side of busy roads during rush hour traffic. The number of horns blowing and thumbs up approval signs was astounding. It was a very uplifting way to start the day. We'll go out and do it again during rush hour home in the evening.
Then we go and get our walking lists that tell us which registered / identified dems in our area haven't voted yet. This includes absentee voters who haven't turned in their ballots yet. Out of several hundred people, only TWENTY ONE had not voted. We went to their houses and reminded them how important it was to get to the polls. Nearly all of the few that hadn't yet voted said "Don't worry - I'm voting!"
Great turnout here in the eastside burbs of Seattle. I'm very encouraged!
