He wasn't registered. He said he was told he could vote anyways because of provisional ballot!!

I am so angry, those fuckers and their tricks.

The generation just reaching adulthood assumes that everything can be handled instantly by computer. I mean, you can buy a car on a 5-minute credit check, right? So why can't someone register in 5 minutes?

It's the way they see the world; it's what they've come to expect. We've been too easy on them. (Trust me, I see this in my own teenagers.)

12. You get today's "Nail On Head" award.
Exactly.
I love my 30-something daughter and son-in-law dearly, but their "last-minuteness" drives me nuts sometimes.
If they have to be somewhere 20 minutes away at noon, they walk out the door at 11:40. NO allowance for traffic or mishaps.
Needless to say, they're late a lot.

9. Several states do have registration at vote time - Minnesota being
one. When I lived in Minnesota, it was great. They had a large turnout. It worked very well.

11. Wisconsin has same day registration too, that's one of the reasons
JK stayed overnight in La Crosse Wisconsin last night, so he could hit the polls early shake some more hands and hopefully round up some more votes.
