Just a reminder! I had forgotten until I saw another poster remind us in a thread.

3. Yeah the mil vote will go heavy bush.
I am veteran and when your in if you vote u vote repug but when u hit the streets in the real world many shift to dems.

I would say 80-90 % of mil will go Bush...Officers and the like tend to vote enlisted usually don't especially ones that live on base.

5. Maybe not that high this year
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 03:51 PM by fugop
The military will still go Bush, but not necessarily by that much. A friend who's a marine said they've had unprecedented get out the vote stuff this year, and the enlisted (especially those in Iraq) may not be quite so heavy for *. The ones I know sure aren't.

And absentee includes all those people living abroad, too, who may be EXTREMELY anti-Bush this year. So who knows?

7. I have two friends with kids on active. (One in Korea and one in Iraq)
When I spoke them, last month and in Sept respectively, they both told me the opposite is true among their peers.

Their parents both have Kerry/Edwards signs in their yards too.

I don't think Buxh has the enlisted overseas mil "in the bag" this time. At least not the "short timers".

4. And the military and absentees are primarily REPUBLICAN.
Wouldn't there be hundreds of thousands of military voters? hmmm?

6. Though early voting favored Kerry...
...and expat Americans tend Democratic. Maybe that'll cancel out the military vote. It ain't over till it's over. KEEP VOTING, AMERICA!
