Looks like he's lost today. That said, keep up the voting and only relax in a few hours.

I think it is important to remember that it will still be sometime before he leaves office after he loses today. I would suggest everyone continue to keep an eye on things after today just in case he tries to pull something between now and when he actually leaves office. I know it may be tempting to assume all is well and lose focus, but you never know.

1. Truth

Thyere is plenty of time for NeoCon deviltry between now and inauguration day. Like maybe a recess appointment to the SCOTUS.

2. Very true!
Even if this is the end for him, he's already done enough damage. I'm not in the mood to let him get away with anythign else because he's a lame duck. We've got enough to fix as it is!

3. Watch out for a meltdown
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 04:00 PM by Boomer
This man has such an incredibly brittle ego structure that even the mildest of criticism sets him off into a rage. So, after years of living in a hermetically sealed bubble of unreality, he may suddenly face his worst nightmare - public humiliation in the form of rejection by an entire country.

I think he's going to crack.

The question will be whether he goes postal and starts stalking through the White House screaming "Redrum" or whether he starts talking in voices and invoking God as he tries to lock the door to the White House.

4. Oh, I agree.
It isn't over until Kerry is sworn in, and even then we've got a hell of a fight.

But let us soak in what appears to be transpiring right now. It's been four long, painful years full of death, destruction, and mayhem. I'm ready to laugh again.
