Report from PA
Good news here from Central PA. Lines were huge and turnout is probably going to be record breaking (heard that from my neighbor who is a poll watcher). I had to wait an hour to vote in little old Ferguson Twp. Also good... the rain held off all day and it is just starting to sprinkle now. Tons of students from Penn State voting also...

I feel better now that I voted, but am gonna be crazy tonight!

1. Thanks
The exit polls would seem to indicate PA won't even be close.
Ohio and Florida are another matter, but they seem to be wins too!

2. What do you figure makeup of the voters were?
Cause I know some Central PA areas are big Repuke areas?

With Philly and Pittsburgh region I feel really good about Kerry's chances. I know in SW PA we've had tons of volunteers and very pumped ready to go to war with Repukes volunteers.

7. Heavy turnout this a.m. in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County.

I poll watched 7-9 a.m., and I think we were outdoing the pubbies percentage-wise, although there are many more of them than of us.

The older lady election workers had never seen as many people in my timeslot than they saw today. They looked really, really frazzled when I checked by a couple of hours later. I imagine that they're close to passing out by now. By the way, the election judge was one of us.

4. I live in Berks county in....
...south western Pa.I think Kerry is doing good here,Kerry has alot of support in the city of Reading. Its the suburbs of Reading were the Bush supporters are.Still I think Kerry will do alright there to,the economy here is in pretty bad shape, people are really struggling and there are a good number of people that blame Bush.

5. Not sure of total numbers
but I do know that new registrants for Centre County totaled about 2200... 1100 were democrats, 600 independents, and 600 republicans! Lots of repubos in line with me, but I think on a whole, Centre County will go for Kerry. Tons of student voters from Penn State.

8. not necessarily...
the PSU dems are cranked up and the visibility for Kerry is enormous. every student i talk to it seems is voting for Kerry... and the PSU Vote Poll was something like 63% Kerry and 34% Bush.

10. Franklin County-S. Central PA-heavy repuk area/bible belt
We voted at 1 PM in my little burg. The lady said they were busy in the morning. There were 4 booths and they were all occupied. Some people came in after we left. I would think it would be busy after work. She said I was #236. Of course I didn't think to ask if that was high for that time of day. At least it wasn't deserted like it often is.
