1. This board is melting down
I was worried about all the landslide bullshit in the last couple of days. It's going to be a squeaker and we need to stay calm and watch it unfold.

3. myself and most folks I know are have been building up
to a mental breakdown for weeks now. I actually broke down and cried this morning without warning. Not like me at all.

This is a much different election than 2000.

4. That's probably WHY we're freaking...
Any Democrat who lived through the last two election cycles would be scared to death.

5. These are bigger stakes than 2002
and also some Gore states like Pa and Mi which were in the democratic camp shortly after their polls closed in 2000 are still out there, so it's causing some concern. But you are right, so far no state has switched.

7. Something smells in Florida Walt. That's what bothers me
the numbers just don't look right with Bush taking Gore counties and running better against Kerry than he did against Gore in large Democratic counties. I just hope that someone is looking at the numbers down there county by county.

Without Florida we must have Ohio.

9. It's rather scary all the red in the middle of the country.
I can't wait to move back to the normalcy of New England next year. Florida is whacked, and so is most of the rest of this country.
