Are the Florida numbers counting the early votes???
PLEASE tell me that they haven't counted the 1.6 million early votes!!!

8. Here is an article with the absentee numbers. They are not counted.
I was told the early voting was not, but no one agrees with me and I can not prove it.

TALLAHASSEE - Just as some polls were closing in Florida, Secretary of State Glenda Hood said Tuesday night that it could take until Thursday for some counties to tally absentee ballots.

Hood said there were 90,000 absentee ballots requested in Miami-Dade County, 92,000 in Broward County and 70,000 in Palm Beach County. The Republican Party has counted on absentee ballots swinging President Bush's way, while Democratic nominee John Kerry has relied more on turnout.

Unofficial results are due from counties at noon on Thursday. Hood's office could not say how many absentee ballots statewide had been requested or how many provisional ballots had been requested from voters who had either been challenged at the polls or showed up at the wrong precinct.
