if the country ends 269 to 269 and the Reps pick the winner, then he hopes a president runs like he DOES NOT have a mandate...SOUND FAMILIAR?

Ron Silver is actually pretty smart, IQ wise, but his political judgement to join the ranks of people who "just like" Bush for his commitment to national security (and who then wilfully ignore the significance about the facts come out from Abu Ghraib, al Qa Qaa, the Herskowitz interview, the Clarke book, and the Green Zone).

Yeh, Silver comes off kind of pompous sometimes. But that's just noise created by his self-deluding hubris.

He said that whoever is elected president won't have a mandate, and should not "rule" like he has a mandate.
