With today's record breaking turnout, there's no way that we should have lost that many senate and congressional seats. They are stealing us blind right under our noses because everybody's focused on the bigger race.

2. The newly registered voters and record turnout don't seem to have made
much difference. I feel like I'm in a time machine. :-(

9. something is very wrong somewhere
I have felt this way for a long time. I just will never believe the outcome of some of these races.

12. Me neither.
I'll never believe record turnout made no difference. It just doesn't pass the smell test.

5. It's BULLSHIT.
These people did not register and stand in line for 6 hours to usher in a new golden era of fascism, fear, and American theocratic empire!

If this doesn't steam off in the counting, be prepared to fight for this one.

6. TX was redistricted by the Repub legislature, so we're losing
several (3?) Dem. congressional seats to Repubs. My district Dem. just lost big time to the stupid, incompetent Repub, even though the Dem. has been in the U.S. House of Rep. for 26 years.

8. If the young voters didn't show up and the Republicans did show up
Guess what can happen.

The right wing will always cheat, but this is bigger than just cheating.

10. Kentucky race looked very odd.
Bunning was several points behind his Dem opponent with about a third of the votes counted, and then suddenly he surged and it was about 50-50, and then he was just over 50% and stayed there as more and more of the vote came in.

14. Let's be honest
I don't like it any more than you do, but.....the Republicans had a pretty sophisticated voter registration/GOTV operation. All the new voters weren't going with us. Example: A few red states had record breaking turnouts and won BIGGER than 2000 because of new voters. We live to fight another day if this doesn't turn our way.
