straight is five cards in a row -- drawing to an inside straight is when you need to draw one card in the middle to fill or complete the straight -- it's one of the least likely possibilities. {lowers your odds from an outside straight, because that could be completed with double the cards.}

plus winning the Gore states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. Plus Kerry may take NH and Nevada.
