was being coronated Emperor and took his crown from the pope or whomever was about to annoint him and put it on his own head, aparently deciding that he was above all others and didn't need to have ANYONE's blessing. Sound like anyone you know?
This is so bad. He must be stopped. This election was only half rigged, there will never be another fair election in this country if he gets back in office.
Everything this freak does is meant to divide and diminish us, the American people. Declaring "victory" before all the votes are counted, after what happened last time, would be a truly despicable act.
truly despicable acts. I suppose, once you've already guaranteed your place in the deepest pits of hell for all eternity, you might as well truly do ANYTHING.
19. Oh, no, it's the BEST possible thing he could do - for us!!
Bush declaring victory in the dead of night, surrounded by hacks and consiglieres, a full 16 EVs short of a victory - perfect!! It would piss a LOT of people off!
as a kid he would change the rules of a game to benefit him, then declare victory
but saying it don't make it necessarily so -- here's a couple of his "rosier" lines
he says economy is getting better -- bush*t he says we are making progress in Iraq -- bush*t he says (sometimes) we are winning the war on terra -- bush*t
as someone once said "stealing a close election is easier than stealing a landslide"
If Bush were confident that he would win even with the provisional ballots he would not be doing this. He would do the decent thing and say that he agrees that every vote should be counted, and he's willing to wait.
