I Love Peter Jennings, but I Hate Cokie Roberts

When asked if the Democratic Party could have been more successful by being more liberal (citing Tom Daschle's loss) she just claimed that we lost because we didn't understand the pulse of the country and were not conservative enough!

Also, I have grown extremely weary of watching Jennings have to remind his reporters to be objective and that the election has not been decided. He has had to do it several times, particularly to Terry Moran and the young woman reporting from Columbus, Ohio. It is depressing to me that he has to keep reminding the people he works with to at least try to be objective.

The best part of ABC's coverage? Jenning's refusal to call Ohio or Michigan until their absolutely sure. The worst part? Cokie Roberts and George Will. They're making me drink more than usual. ;-)
