I'm urging all of us to call both of these numbers and become monthly donors to both of these organizations. Let's let them know we are doing this in response to the right-wing shift in America. I know there are a lot of us here, and if we all do this, it should make a big impact and send a message! Let's do this!!

1. The ACLU opposes campaign finance reform
I used to support the ACLU until they opposed McCain-Feingold. Really pissed me off. The idea that writing a six-figure check to a political party is somehow covered by the First Amendment.

But I still support People for the American Way.
