after a count of all provisional ballots. Kerry simply needs to get close enough to get a recount....the media is not reporting this. In Ohio, like many other states, if one candidate is very close to the other candidate then the law requires a recount.
7. That's very true, which is why we're still holding some hope.
However, it's still a pretty grim looking scenario. We're down 136k votes and it seems like there's only 175k provisional ballots out there. About 78% of those ballots would have to be for Kerry to get a recount even.
