I Want to Secede
Seriously. The rest of the country offers me nothing. I'm tired of nominating politicians who lose because they fail to capture the redneck vote. Fuck the rednecks.

Can't Blue States start their own country? All you red state DUers are invited to join us.

I am so embarrassed to be an American today. Fuck.

1. We've got the whole west coast
except Alaska, and it is too cold up there anyway.

California is the 6th largest economy in the world--oh wait Arnie would be the president. . .

I guess I'll stick with America.

2. You know, I was thinking the same thing...
I'm sick of being ran by a bunch of fucking right wing Christian types. I wish the north and west would secede and leave those rednecks in the south to their own miserable being. No wonder this country had a civil war.

4. we need to let the gov't and the world know
that * is not OUR president. Even if we lost this election, we don't have to roll over. We just need to get louder and louder the worse they get.

6. They're dragging us down
How much time can you spend pandering to stupid-ass Iowans? Meanwhile the blue states get completely blown off all campaign, but are always loyal and intelligent.

3. The original colonies should revolt for exactly the same
reason they did the first time: taxation with no representation. They're bleeding us dry (upper midwest and the left coast are welcome to join us).

Time to turn off the taps folks. Tax strike anyone?

here.

We are union. Strength does not come from Monoculture.

16. It isn't.
Remember-- we are the nation's bread basket, rail hub and have the busiest airport. I think we can horse-trade access to those for something.

13. The interesting part...
...is that the rednecks think Bush cares about them. They believe his dramatized rhetoric and they have no clue that every commercial, every pitch is done to persuade, not tell the truth. Well, now the truth will come out. And the rednecks will see that their fearless leader will no longer be supporting them with his b.s. and his support. Maybe they'll realize it when they lose their jobs or have no health care because he's spending our tax dollars to "liberate" other countries.

18. I support the right of the Confederate States of America to secede!
They already have a flag!

Lincoln was wrong. He acted unconstitutionally. Let us join with the South in fighting to give them the independence they are entitled to.

19. I'm ready.
I think such vast differences are irreconcilable. There is almost no common ground left. Lincoln saved it once but the cost was too great and look where it has ended up anyway.

Maybe Canada would be willing to annex some northern states and the West Coast...

20. Checking in from the new future province - the Southeast Union, Canada...
formerly known as the Northeastern United States.

I would secede in a minute from this shameful mess, and I'd be proud to be a Canadian citizen. Living close to the border, I go to Canada all the time on business and pleasure, and the people are FANTASTIC there, just like all the DUers. Most of my friends up there cannot believe how we could possibly elect this monster Bush.

26. Two new countries in alliance with Canada
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 01:12 PM by Nancy Waterman
California, Oregon, and Washington is one country. And the Northeast including Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota , Iowa and Wisconsin if they want in. Two new countries in alliance with each other and with Canada. The United Christian States can do their own thing without me.
