The mood in my town is the same as 9/11/01

I live and work in Montgomery county Maryland and I notice the same silence and gloomy mood here today that I haven't seen since 9/11.

People in my area sadness is VERY noticeable.

The democrats at work people are disappointed but nobody blames Kerry.

I'm really upset with the result and I feel worse when I come here to DU and see people blaming the senator for the election "loss" and for conceding today, which is totally unfair to the senator.

I am proud of his campaign and he did pretty well for a person who had the media against him going full force. The media decided the election I feel and they are the people who stuck the label on John Kerry by repeating over and over the smear from the Bush campaign, Sinclair, Swifties, etc. as if they were facts.
