The good news is- We are as to the right as we can get.
That's it. The wall. There will be no more movement to the right, by the Democratic party. They'd have to call it something else if they did.

And now, the Dems in Congress will be forced to use all means to keep the president from going any further. There are all kinds of ways that it can be done. From filibustering, to who knows what. I'm relatively ignorant of what they can do, but I am only posting this to express that we can only move to the left, from where we are. I suppose that isn't saying much. But at a time like this, when polarization is extreme, every little ray of light might help.

And girls wearing dresses to their ankles, and young boys with buzzcuts and dress pants, none of that "expressing themselves" nonsense. Lifetime sentences for petty crimes, more jails, mandatory bible study during fifth period. THEN we'll be talking.

Never say it can't get worse.

5. I certainly hope you're right
The whole "mine's bigger" aspect of the K/E terra war always disturbed me, especially when JK said things like "we will hunt them down and kill them". What about justice? What about a fair trial? What about MAKING SURE WE HAVE THE RIGHT PEOPLE before we destroy their country?

Hopefully this will be a wake-up call to the DLC, and they will rightfully be pushed aside in the party leadership.

And then maybe the Dems will pick a presidential candidate from a midwestern state, and put all this "middle-American values" BS to rest.

14. They could start killing us.
There was a 'puke congressman a few years ago that seriously suggested rounding up gays and putting them in concentration camps. The new GOP Senator from OK is fearful of roving bands of lesbians attacking school girls on their way from the classroom to the lavatory. Ann Coulter has openly called for the outright murder of liberals.

I think we should prepare for a late night knock on the door by DHS goons.
