Is it going to take a nuke going off in an American city

(or several) to get Republicans to realize you can't piss on the world forever and get away with it? That it's impossible to watch every border all the time, to put every extremist in jail, to inspect every shipping container? That without friends all we have are enemies, several of whom already have "the bomb"?

These are very frightening times. We have just upped the ante.

They would close off and begin to see Bush as their protector, their father, their voice.
