WHO is Harry Reid?
What are the chances of him being our next Senate leader?

I don't like the idea of him being from Nevada. We need a leader in a completely safe seat - and one with both savvy and guts.

I also hear he's pro-life.

Other than that I don't know a damn thing about him.

6. It was closer to 400
Over John Ensign, who took over Richard Bryan's seat in 2000. Reid had to withstand a statewide hand recount, which the GOP supported gungho in those pre-Florida days. When he was very young, Reid lost an equally close senate race in the '70s. This year was a fluke rout; the GOP's top candidate, congressman Jim Gibbons, decided to pass the senate race for a crack at governor in 2006. That left no serious candidate to challenge Reid.

Reid is a very hard worker. Clinton always laughs about how Reid kept him incessantly informed on every Nevada issue. John McCain tried for years to slip in a measure banning legal college sports betting in Nevada, even onto obscure bills that weren't related. McCain was frequently stunned when Reid was still there on the senate floor, late at night, to object to McCain's tactic and thwart it.

5. Harry Reid is another loser....love his message, don't like his style
I've seen him on C-SPAN, he's very slow, precise, and boring. Love his stances, just don't like his delivery. Why don't we have some fire and brimstone orator like the d*mn repubs do???

9. Russ. Feingold.
I definitely like him as our minority leader. Or how about...John Kerry? Interesting choice.
