"WE count the votes": Diary of a Political Tourist:

If you get the chance watch Alexandra's Pelosi's Diary of a Political Tourist on HBO. In it, and this just struck me, she is interviewing a Republican at a recent GW White House BBQ. She asks how he is so certain 'they' (Bush) are going to win. He answers her, "because we count the votes." The way this was said struck me as odd when I first saw 'Diary' a few weeks ago. Now...? It breaks my heart because I know he was telling the truth.
