If he believes more children, like his daughter should live in poverty, if that is moral, great for him. His beliefs have been realized.

Saddam is no longer in power, but Osama is still alive, comfortable and plotting, over 3 years after he orchestrated 9-11, good for Phil.
He voted for morals, and he cast his vote for a President who says he has a moral obligation to protect his people.


So, when the deficit gets bigger, more people lose jobs, and God forbid, something actually becomes of Osama's comfortable state, ie we get attacked again, Phil will have his ultimate victory. While it's debatable whether or not Phil Parlock has any morals or beliefs, the fact is, that's how the Republicans won. Gays, God, and guns. We need to "get it"! We need to stop letting the Republicans clean out the center. I realize this means compromise for many people here, but it's an imperfect world; compromise or neocon control of EVERYTHING. Which do you prefer?

I am not sure what you had meant by that, but imo it was definitely NOT the center that voted for Shrub this time. It was the fundie extremists and the cowards who tremble at the name of osama. Now whether or not these two groups are enough to make up 51% of the population is debatable (I tend to lean towards the voting fraud angle). Bush is too far right to have attracted the centrist vote on the whole. But to get technical, some might have voted for him SOLELY on the "homeland security" issue. I doubt that Dem candidates will suddenly get more votes if they turn their backs on the gay community. Besides, winning only because one has opted to be as intolerant as a rethug seems like a hollow victory to me.
