Any Truth to This: State Average IQ and Candidate Choice
http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/m/p/mpm265/election.htm

This is a table representing states with an average IQ above 100 went for Kerry while states with an average IQ under 100 went for Bush. This could just be pure fantasy and probably have all sorts of logic errors (i.e. MIT and Harvard are in Mass. raising average IQ). There isn't any sourcing on the information.

Fun to think about though.

1. It's apriori knowledge
We all know this. No evidence needed. The northern tier has ALWAYS been more educated.

2. IQ item

This made an attempt to equate IQ and income and is the source of your table.
