What happens if they prove that Diebold cheated for Bush?
If someone comes up withe hard core evidence that they can pin down and it's prove that the election was stolen again.

What will happen? Will there be a recall or would we be required to vote again?

Is there a constitutional law regarding this kind of fraud?

1. I don't think anything would happen
Riots, of course, but I don't think we would see any changes.

5. I'm wondering if there's a way that a massive exit poll could be done
Particularly of electronic voters. I think voters from both sides would be willing to participate. Bush voters would be just as eager to prove their candidate won.

6. we can, we must, and we will
We must do whatever we can because it is the right thing to do, and not worry about whether or not it will "work." The alternative is too horrendous to contemplate.

7. What if R-Rod Made The Tag...
Whatif...whatif...whatif. (I need to consult my 12-step book here to see what part of the program this self-flagalation belongs under).

Kerry conceded, it's over. Wanna change things? Get Democrats elected as Secretary of State in Ohio & Florida and then get them legislatures that will enable them to control the process.

9. Doesn't matter
I am not saying there was fraud -- but Kerry conceding doesn't mean anything -- he doesn't control the investigation. If there is fraud and it can be shown (and I am skeptical that it can or will be prooved even if it is true) then we can move. Even if it doesn't change the election (and again I don't think it will) it will help delegitimize this guy in the hearts and minds of the people and maybe (maybe) the media.

12. There's No Proof
With all those people voting, all I've heard to substantiate any fraud was annectdotal...nothing caught on tape or so widespread it could be detected and documented. So what would an investigation do?

For those of us who have now voted twice against this regime, I don't know what more deligitimization you need from Democrats. I doubt there are few here who have let their anger subside or have anything but outright hatred toward the manchild and this regime. Sad truth...wake up to it, the boy IS now legitimate in both the eyes of the media and history. He won a plurality of the popular vote...the majority in this country...or shall I say, the majority who bothered to get out and vote gave him whatever legitimacy he wanted.

Time to look forward...now what? Other than breaking into little pity parties and playing blame games. I'm still waiting for something positive to evolve here.

we can still win this thing.

11. Yeah, if we can prove it before the EC votes, that could do something
I agree, let's get cracking.

13. Remember the CBC in F911???
The Congressional Black Caucus needed just ONE Democratic senator to step forward which would have contested the 2000 election, not a single one step forward. You expecting someone to do so now?

Let's come back to planet Earth and start really looking at what needs to be done, not making wishes or looking for people to blame.

I haven't seen a single thread here yet asking about who are qualified Secretary of State candidates in Florida & Ohio (and yes, I've asked in the past)...and what it would take to organize campaigns to oust them in 2006. Also to groom a new generation of Democrats on the grassroots level that will make changes from the bottom up, not expecting it to happen from the top down.

16. I happen to have
prima facia evidence that the Bush Campaign collaborated with the Swift Boat Vets. I mean pictures, contracts, documents, the whole nine yards. That's one item for the list.

Counting the votes is the big one though and I think we can find all sorts of problems there.

10. No recall. No new election.
But it'll make the midterm election really interesting.

There will definitely be calls for impeachment. Can we impeach Bush and Cheney at the same time?
