I mean, when you see an ad for a missile maker like Northrop Grumman on CNN or PBS don't you ever think "How the hell many consumers ever buy anything from these guys?"

But that's buying the message. Same with all the sponsors for Rush. Why sponsor him when his ratings are a fraction of the ratings of any pop music station? Controlling the message.
