The Truth Stands Alone
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 03:13 PM by demwing2
We lost an election, and now so many want to simply fall in behind the winner.

Regardless of the issues of fraud, what is wrong with this picture?

Are we afraid that we're not in the majority?

Was Galileo in the majority? Hell no.

Did that shut him up? Hell NO.

Did he play to the middle, try to moderate his views? Hell NO!

When you are right, it doen't matter if you stand alone. You are not standing for popularity, you are standing for the truth.

If 60 million voters think that gays and lesbians are unfit to enjoy a basiccivil liberty, does that make it so? No, it makes those 60 million voters WRONG.

Sure, they won (or stole) the vote, but you cannot win or steal the truth. Not even with a BILLION votes.

Sometimes, the truth stands alone.
